Paraclesis to St. Paraskevi and St. Panteleimon
9 am
It
is the primary function, work and ministry of the Church
to pray. The
Church prays endlessly for the living and the dead. The Shrine Church of St. Paraskevi, because of the presence
of the Holy Relics of both St. Paraskevi and St. Panteleimon,
understands even more clearly the mandate and responsibility
to pray for all people, their needs and for their health
and salvation.
Please
refer to the biographies
of both saints for additional information regarding
their holiness of life and great power of intercessory
prayer.
ST
PARASKEVI
It
must be noted that
St. Paraskevi is an intercessor for
all illnesses and needs, however, miracles for
sight, healing and spiritual insight are very
numerous.
St. Paraskevi is considered the patron
saint of seeing, sight and the eyes.

ST
PANTELEIMON
St. Panteleimon was a physician who
became a saint. He is well know throughout the world for the healing of all
types of physical and spiritual illnesses.
